Board of Directors — John R. Kreick
Dr. John R. Kreick was appointed to EMS Technologies’ Board of Directors in 2003. He serves as chairman of the Science & Technology Committee and a member of the Audit Committee.
From 1988 until 1998, Dr. Kreick served as president of a leading defense electronics firm, the Sanders division of Lockheed Martin Corporation, and was also a Lockheed Martin vice president. Dr. Kreick is currently continuing his involvement in cutting-edge defense electronics programs through a private consulting practice.
Since 2001, Dr. Kreick has been the Chairman of the Board of Draper Labs, which is a research center for the Department of Defense and NASA. Draper Labs employs approximately 750 engineers, scientists and technicians.
In 1993, Dr. Kreick received the Electronic Warfare Association's highest award, and he is a recipient of Aviation Week Magazine's Aerospace Laurels Award for his long-term contributions to electronic warfare.
Other activities include service as a director of The Pennichuck Water Works Corporation, a holding company for water-service utilities and real estate development in New Hampshire, membership on the Board of Trustees of Rivier College and Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, and service on numerous Department of Defense and other scientific panels and committees.
A native of Michigan, Dr. Kreick holds a Ph.D. in theoretical physics from the University of Michigan, where he also earned his undergraduate and Master’s degrees, and is the principal inventor on eight patents in infrared and electro-optical technology. |
