Executive Bios — William H. Roeder

William (Bill) H. Roeder is currently senior vice president and acting general manager of LXE Inc., the mobile logistics business of EMS Technologies, Inc.

LXE is a leading provider of wireless RF computer systems and solutions that deliver mobility and real-time data communications to enhance productivity in warehouses and distribution centers in the logistics market. As vice president of Product Development, Roeder oversees all aspects of the product development process, including the Product Marketing, Development Engineering and Technical Support organizations.

Roeder has been with LXE (EMS) for more than 14 years, and has held various management roles in the product development arena. Most recently he was deputy general manager of LXE. Prior to that position, he was vice president of Engineering, where he was responsible for all development engineering activities, and has previously held the positions of vice president of Marketing, and vice president of the Transportation Business unit.

Roeder previously spent 11 years with Reliance Electric. He held various positions in engineering and product management, and left the company as Marketing manager of the Industrial Controls Division.

Roeder is a graduate of Cornell University School of Electrical Engineering and holds an MBA degree from Case Western Reserve University.
